September is almost over!!!

I feel like I say this ALL the time, but time just flies by! I feel like it is the first day of a new month and I turn around and we are finishing the final days! Crazy! The craziest part of it all was sending out Braysen's invites to his first birthday party. I cannot believe my little boy is just weeks away from turning one year old! Brylin's first year was fast but I feel like Braysen's has gone by in warp speed. Probably because I am twice as busy now with my busy bees always keeping me on my toes.
Speaking of Braysen, he is becoming quite the little man! He had his first hair cut at the beginning of the month and it made him look so much older. Brad buzzed off his hair and he cried the whole time!! Afterwards he was so pooped out from the ordeal he took a two hour nap to recover! Poor guy!
The torment of a haircut
So tired!

Happy and handsome little boy!

He is cruising around our house tearing up everything in his path. I just follow along behind him and pick up his discoveries. He loves to crawl in the dish washer while I am loading it, unload my tupperware drawer over and over, empty our bathroom cabinets while I'm getting ready, and teeter beside me while I put my make-up on trying to grab lipsticks while I'm not looking. Lots of help!! He has started signing and talking which is hilarious! He says "hat," "drink," "doggy" and "dute." We don't know what "dute" means but he uses it on a constant basis so it has great importance to him. He signs finished, drink, eat, and doggy. My favorite is doggy because he slaps his chubby thigh with his chubby hand and it is so cute!
He loves to give kisses. He gives them out constantly and has started kissing his books (like his sister did at around the same age). He persists on giving kisses if you try to dodge them. I was trying to talk to my Mom the other day and Braysen was sitting on my lap trying to give me a kiss. I was trying to look around him to talk to my Mom and all I kept seeing was this little face making every move I made with his mouth wide open. Finally I gave him a kiss and then he moved on. Stinker!
He is still our little firecracker and yells and screams at us often if we don't immediately do what he wants us to. Then, a second later he is on your lap hugging you and snuggling. He is a child of many emotions!
Brylin is busy as ever! I love listening to her play by herself and hear her imagination! She loves to be the Mommy and tell her babies the rules and take them shopping and put them to bed. She loves to swim and jump and run and play catch. She started Awana's a couple weeks ago and she loves being a Cubbie. I am actually a Cubbie leader so I get to enjoy watching her pure joy in all the things they learn on Wednesday nights. There are few things in the world that could make me as happy as watching Brylin smile from ear to ear as she enjoys herself!
In other (more romantic) news, Brad and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on the 3rd. I have to say I feel so privelaged to be Brad's wife! I just adore him and find I love him more every year we celebrate that amazing day! These past 6 years have been the best of my life and I am so thankful for the wonderful man God gave me to be my husband! He is such an undeserved gift to me!
